Growing up in the Wood River Valley, Sam cultivated an ongoing enjoyment of the outdoors and nature.
After minoring in Environmental Engineering, Sam spent a year studying urban air pollution, while immersing himself in Korean culture, on the Luce Fellowship at Seoul National University.
Sam obtained his PhD in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley and then spent many years as a data scientist.
Over the past decade, Sam has been more deeply and formally exploring a lifelong fascination with and commitment to wellness. In particular, Sam has been discovering ways to improve his mental, emotional, and financial health.
Now, in his retirement, Sam is able to devote significantly more resources to pursuing his own well-being, as well as supporting others where they are on their own wellness journeys.
