A special community event! Local speaking engagements Jan 23rd – Jan 26th

Love Is Louder! Improving Your Brain Health”, will be led by Kevin and Margaret Hines and a team of mental health professionals, to help raise awareness around mental health, brain health, suicide prevention and positive life choices for our community.  CQNR, a non-profit organization, will provide world class speakers to deliver and facilitate a range of workshops and speaking sessions.

LoveIsLouder_email-2Kevin is an award winning global speaker, best-selling author, filmmaker and suicide prevention and mental health advocate who has reached millions with his story of an unlikely survival and his strong will to live.  Two years after he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, he attempted to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge.  He’s going to be sharing his compelling story with the Valley’s middle schools, high schools, parents, and the public.

The CNQR team will also conduct customized workshops for parents, caregivers, first responders, mental health professionals, to discuss practical tools and resources based on mental and brain health studies as to how to better their lives, develop resilience and coping skills.  They are also providing and teaching a curriculum that will provide a continuum of education for brain health throughout the year.

This series is being sponsored generously by St. Luke’s Wood River Foundation, Community School, Blaine County School District, Flourish Foundation, Wood River Community YMCA, Sun Valley Wellness Institute and other private donations.
