In yoga, universal oneness is described by the trinity of Truth (Sat), Consciousness (Chit) and Bliss (Ananda). Through a strong yet playful vinyasa yoga practice Marisa will guide you towards an experience of this energetic state of non-duality, beginning with slow movements of self-inquiry and building into a powerful meditation-in-motion.  Yoga Nidra (deep, guided meditation) will complete the practice, leaving you feeling nurtured by the Source of your being. This class is open to all levels…come prepared to joyfully expand your potential!

It’s time to let go and hit that reset button.  Long, passive holds of supported yoga poses will unravel stresses held in the body and mind, enabling you to effortlessly drop into expanded states of consciousness. At the same time you will learn how to anchor your awareness in the present moment through mindfulness techniques, leaving you feeling clear, centered and recharged.

Marisa is well known for her authentic self-expression, humorous yet grounded, as she empowers clients to live their highest potential on all levels of being.

She has been a practitioner of yoga for over 16 years.  Since completing the Interdisciplinary Yoga and Advanced Teacher Trainings at the Nosara Yoga Institute in 2002, Marisa has dedicated her life to sharing the art and science of yoga.  She uses her graduate degree in Transpersonal Psychology, Life Coaching and Pranassage to bring a real-world mix of eastern and western spiritually and psychology to her classes for Self-empowerment and transformation. As an E-RYT 1000, Marisa is a yoga teacher-teacher for the Nosara Yoga Institute and Shanti Yoga School. You can find her classes online at udaya.com.

In addition to a full-on yoga life, Marisa is the mother of 2 fabulous kiddos, hosts a weekly show on Radio Boise, is DJ Chakra Khan, and is the co-producer and director of Yogafort for Treefort Music Fest.

When not wanderlusting, Marisa can be found guiding weekly classes at her studio in Boise, Idaho, Sage Yoga & Wellness.
