The Destination

Sun Valley & Ketchum
Nestled in the spectacular Rocky Mountains of Idaho are the iconic mountain resort towns of Sun Valley and Ketchum, Idaho. Sun Valley holds the distinction of being the first ski resort in the United States. The thriving town of Ketchum anchors the community and serves as the focal point for dining, shopping, and entertainment. Sun Valley/Ketchum may have their roots in winter, but a visit during the warmer months will have you understand why the locals say “People come for the snow, but they stay for the summers.” This alpine haven features world-class streams, endless backcountry to explore, hiking for all levels (against the backdrop of blooming wildflowers), and plenty of clean mountain air.
